Our Year, Wrapped: Gratitude, Giving, and the Spaces We Built Together

As this year comes to a close, I am reflecting on more than what we created. I am reflecting on why we created it, who we served along the way, and how deeply grateful I am for the people who made it possible. At Semmelmann Interiors, this year was not measured only in projects completed or accolades received. It was measured in purpose lived out, generosity extended, and spaces designed to truly support the life inside them.

Purpose-Driven Interior Design

This year also marked a meaningful milestone for us. Semmelmann Interiors turned six, a reminder of how much can be built when faith, discipline, and purpose lead the way.

This year, we completed our eighth charity showplace home and began designing our ninth and tenth. Each of these homes reminded us that design has a responsibility. When we lend our creativity, time, and leadership to causes bigger than ourselves, beauty becomes a form of service. It becomes a way to restore dignity, inspire hope, and remind people they are seen. The Spirit of Living Is in the Giving is not an idea we reference lightly. It is the lens through which we choose how and where we invest our gifts.

Award-Winning Interior Design and Team Leadership

Our work was also recognized in meaningful ways. We were honored to receive six ASID Design Excellence Awards, a reflection of the thoughtfulness, discipline, and care our team brings to every project. We were named one of the Best Companies to Work For in Fort Worth for the second year in a row, and Best Interior Designer in Fort Worth for the fourth time. These recognitions matter to me because they speak not only to the homes we design, but to the culture we protect and the people we lead. Leadership is stewardship, and I take seriously the responsibility of building a workplace where people feel supported, challenged, and proud of the work they do.

This year, we invested deeply in growth and learning. We attended four major markets together as a team, believing that exposure fuels creativity and shared experiences strengthen alignment. We developed a new line of fabrics, designed by us and inspired by divine creation. That collection reflects what we believe to be true. Beauty is intentional. Creation is layered. And when design is rooted in reverence, it resonates more deeply.

Philanthropy and Community Impact Through Design

Giving continued to anchor our calendar. We participated in more than twenty philanthropic events and initiatives this year, showing up for organizations and causes that matter to our community. Philanthropy is not something we fit in when time allows. It is part of our responsibility as leaders, creators, and people who have been entrusted with much.

None of this happens alone. I am endlessly grateful for our team, whose talent, integrity, and heart define this firm. For our clients who trusted us with their homes and their stories, thank you. Your desire for spaces that feel aligned, grounded, confident, and purposeful is what drives us to do this work with excellence.

Looking Ahead to the Future of Semmelmann Interiors

As we wrap this year, I am filled with gratitude and clarity. We built homes designed for gathering, for legacy, for peace. We built systems that serve. We built a culture rooted in generosity. Most importantly, we built spaces with purpose.

My hope as we step into the year ahead is simple. That we continue to serve well. That we lead with humility. And that every space we touch leaves the people inside it feeling deeply at peace.

From all of us at Semmelmann Interiors, thank you for being part of our year.
