At Susan Semmelmann Interiors, we are all about the five-minute commute! Hop out of bed, detour to the kitchen for a cup of coffee, and check-in at the office – the home office! We recently included this design element in our 2020 dream home project, and it took the entry appeal over the top! Using LED lights under the stair treads and adding backlit wall lamps to highlight and reflect the mirrored artwork made this staircase a showcase! (Not to mention the fabulous wine closet recessed underneath!) These features were thoroughly planned and implemented during the framing stage of construction, making the process of construction detailing so crucial.
