This condo was designed as a second home, a place to step away from routine while staying immersed in the rhythm of the city. The clients wanted a space that felt modern, confident, and distinctly urban, something that embraced high rise living with intention and ease. From the start, the goal was to create a refined retreat that balanced bold design choices with everyday comfort.

We approached the remodel with a focus on contrast, proportion, and clarity. A restrained palette allowed architectural elements and skyline views to take center stage, while layered textures and graphic patterning added depth and personality. Each space was designed to feel cohesive yet impactful, creating a seamless flow throughout the home.

The living area became the heart of the condo. A statement fireplace wall anchors the space, introducing depth through dark finishes and reflective tile. Furnishings were selected to encourage gathering while preserving openness and sightlines to the city beyond. Sculptural forms, geometric patterns, and soft upholstery work together to create a space that feels both polished and inviting, equally suited for entertaining or quiet evenings above the skyline.

The kitchen was designed to feel architectural and highly functional, with an emphasis on both form and storage. We added extensive cabinetry to maximize vertical space, creating a more efficient layout while maintaining a clean, streamlined appearance. Matte black cabinets establish a strong visual framework, balanced by open shelving that introduces lightness and display. A richly veined stone backsplash and matching island add movement and texture, while integrated appliances and refined hardware keep the space feeling intentional and uncluttered. Pendant lighting reinforces the modern aesthetic and highlights the scale of the high rise setting.

Throughout the condo, attention to materiality and proportion ensured each room could stand on its own while contributing to a unified design story.
